Tasty New Meiji Candy

Hello again, Kiru here ^o^

These past few weeks we've had a large influx of lots of brand new delicious snacks all the way from Japan!
Because we have so many new snacks to show off we are going to do two posts~
One featuring our new candy products and one on our newest biscuits and chocolate.
It's super exciting. O(≧∇≦)O

All of our new candy this week are all from Meiji in Japan! Meiji is the equivalent of Hershey's in the USA or Cadbury here in the UK however it does all sorts of foods from chocolate and candy, hot foods and beverages, all the way
to heath foods including vitamins and even child rearing products. (゜-゜)

The first of our new products we will take a look at today is a brand new variety of Watapachi Candy Floss by Meiji.
If you haven't tried Watapachi before, it comes in two types.
The first type is a delicious fluffy candy floss with popping candy mixed inside. It is available in a tangy sweet grape and fizzy melon soda flavour, both are available on our website.
The second is known as Wata-Gum, it is a light fluffy candy floss that as you eat, magically turns into a chewing gum. This is available in a tangy cola flavour and the newest flavour available now on our website, brand new Sour Lemon Wata-gum!

Sour Lemon Wata-Gum is an intensely lemony flavour for real sour fanatics. It also has little fizzy bits of sherbet that add another layer of fizzy citrus burst. As you break on pieces they will slowly turn into gum as you chew! You can enjoy in lots of little pieces or eat the whole pack in one for the equivalent of one large piece of normal gum. As this does turn into a gum we don't recommend to swallow it, however if you do, it wont do any harm. ( ˃ᆺ˂)

The next candy we will look at is a really exciting product as its made for those of you who like to try new things! Meiji Petit Assort Candy Selection
You may be familiar with Meiji Petit Assort Chocolate Selection, which features 5 different chocolates in small sample boxes for you try. It's a little like Kellogg's cereal variety packs that you may have had when you were little! For me these little Meiji selections boxes feel very nostalgic. ヽ(゚ー゚*ヽ)

Meiji Petit Assort Chocolate Selection

The Meiji Petit Assort Candy Selection has one product from the the Meiji Petit Assort Chocolate Selection, the Meiji Marble chocolate, which is a sugar coated counter filled with delicious Meiji chocolate. There are four other candies in this selection. One is 'Poifull', a fruity gummy jelly bean with a chewy sugar coating, it has four lovely flavours: Raspberry, lemon, green apple and Japanese grape. Next are two smooth, sugar shell candies that crumble into a refreshing sherbety fizz. The first is called Hi-lemon with has a delicious refreshing zing and added vitamin c. The other is Ichigo-up with has a refreshing sweet berry burst. The last is a more unusual candy and is called Yoghurt, it is very similar to the Hi-lemon and Ichigo-up in its look and texture but its flavour is a little like Yakult, a rich creamy yoghurt flavour with added calcium! ヽ(°◇° )ノ

Lastly we have this new amazing product from the same range as Meiji Create-a-gummy - Sushi and Crepe shop. This is Meiji Create-a-gummy - Grapevine its a super stretchy rich flavoured gummy that looks just like a vine of grapes. The special thing about this product is that it has has three different flavours of grape that you can pull apart just like you're picking grapes fresh from the vine!
The red coloured grapes are a strong Japanese grape flavour that tastes similar to Fujiya Anpanman which is very fragrant. The light green coloured grapes taste like Muscat grape which are like the green grapes you see in the super market. The vine itself tastes like fizzy grape soda. It's your choice to whether you pluck the grapes from the vine or eat them together! There are no rules (~‾⌣‾)~

Well that's everything for this post; what an exciting selection of new delicious snacks from Meiji! Keep an eye out for our next post featuring all the brand new yummy chocolates and biscuits on our website. Thank you for taking the time to read this post,  and make sure you give them a try at let us know what you think! (>ω<)b

Until next time -  Your Social Media Team Member - Kiru! ^o^
