Lets Make Dodotto Tsubupyon

This week I have a special friend, Ken-kun helping me, as we are going to make one of our DIY candy kits, Dodotto Tsubupyon! ヽ(*≧ω≦)人(∩◡∩*)ノ

Dodotto is one of our lower priced DIY kits at only £3.50 and is also probably one of the easiest to do, so this is perfect for those who want to try some beginner kits before investing in the more complicated, more expensive ones! ^^ We currently only have Soda flavour in stock, however Grape flavour should be back around mid March.

So lets get started! This is the contents you will receive inside each Dodotto packet. 

A plastic mixing pallet with two dishes, three different sachets of powder, a cute tiny spoon and one of three different Dodotto squeezers! I got Dodotto the octopus ^^ You will also need a cup with a little water, a little kitchen roll and some scissors.

Firstly look for the fill lines in both dishes (it's the rings around the middle!), now fill with water up to this line.

Next find the first sachet (it should have a number one on it.) Carefully open with scissors and pour the powder into the dish with the shell markings on the sides. Now quickly stir, stir stir with the little spoon. You know you've done it right when its all dissolved and is making a little fizzing noise. (* >ω<)

Give the spoon a quick rinse so it's nice and clean! Now you need to open the packet with the number two on and pour that one into the other dish and stir away until its all mixed in! (this one takes a little more work as it goes a little lumpy but don't worry too much! >o<

This is where Dodotto comes in! (Mine doesn't look to happy about this ><) Place his suckers into the coloured side and squeeze him to suck up the liquid. Then move him over to the other dish and squeeze him until all the liquid is gone! As you'll notice tiny little gummy balls start to form! Continue this over and over until all the coloured liquid is gone and you have a full dish of gummy balls! 

Once the coloured dish is empty give it a quick little wipe with some kitchen towel or a cloth.

Now carefullly spoon a little of the liquid over from the gummy ball dish, into the empty dish. Be careful not to get any of the gummy balls in it! ^^ You only need about 1-2 spoons full. 

Next take your last sachet and pour that powder into the dish with the water in and stir, stir, stir again!

It should turn into a luscious thick fizzing foam!

Now you've mixed everything time for a tasting! 

The gummies and the liquid are quite subtle and in my case, slighty soda flavoured, the foam is a deliciously sour vibrant soda flavour that fizzes in your mouth! 

Try combining the two, it's so yummy! Now you can enjoy the two flavours together (n_n)

Yatta! We've done it! (well.. hopefully!) Now to get my glamorous assistant Ken-kun to do the cleaning up!
